Demonstration of the value of a directory of services and repository of assets that can be used to support quality of life improvements and economic development in Northwest Indiana. SpringDawn is a web based resource that can be shared by organizations and individuals committed to improving quality of life in Northwest Indiana.

SpringDawn uses low cost and easy to use web based applications. All of the content used in these applications can be used and maintained by anyone with e-mail and word processing skills.

The goal is to bind together all of the organizations and individuals in Northwest Indiana who are working together to drive quality of life development for our region. SpringDawn will provide:

• Extensive and well organized links to all organization web sites that support economic development in NWI.
• Shared calendar of all meetings and events related to economic development in NWI.
• Simple public project and task sharing system for tracking progress on economic development tasks throughout NWI.
• Simple reporting systems that support easy, fast and accurate posting of meeting minutes and progress reports.
• Repository of images, video and documents that support communications on the desirability of investing, developing, relocating and visiting Northwest Indiana.
• Opportunity and relationship management system that can be used to identify and track progress toward realizing specific opportunities.
• Simple shopping cart that can be used to quickly register new members, sign up attendees and sell and deliver materials that support economic development in NWI
