The steps to success are:
- Gain commitment to support the SpringDawn concept. It can be relabeled as appropriate by sponsoring organizations. It is the concept that requires commitment.
- Determine the specific goals for the project.
- Set up the preliminary applications and enter the initial information.
- Meet with organizational leadership throughout Northwest Indiana. Present the value of a well coordinated shared effort on economic development. Establish the value of a set of simple tools that support cooperative and coordinated teamwork among the wide range of individuals and organizations committed to economic development. Gain commitment from leadership on using these tools to help us all work better together.
- Train the appropriate administrative staff and communications staff at each organization on how to use the applications and how to keep their information current and accurate. Work with them as to the best and most efficient way to integrate their current public information into this regional shared resource.
- Monitor success and assure that the quality of the site is improved and maintained.
